Redeeming Coupons at POS

On-site coupons can be redeemed at POS terminals during the event.

How It Works

Some coupons are designed for on-site use rather than online ticket purchases. These include:

• Free vouchers included with ticket purchases
• Promotional campaign credits
• Sponsor coupons distributed at activations

Redemption Process

1. The attendee shows their available coupon on the CHI PWA or CHI App.
2. The POS operator inputs the associated free or discounted product on the POS terminal.
3. During checkout, the user scans the QR code on the POS or taps their wearable.
4. The coupon is automatically applied to the order. The customer will either receive the product for free or pay the properly discounted price.
5. The coupon is then marked as redeemed (for one-time use) or decremented (for multi-use).

For Organizers

Track on-site coupon usage in CHI Backstage under Events > Coupons > Redemptions:

• Total redemptions per coupon
• Which vendors processed redemptions
• Revenue impact of on-site promotions
