App Crashes & Performance Issues

If the CHI App is crashing, freezing, or running slowly, try these steps to get back on track.

Quick Fixes

Try these steps in order:

Force close and reopen — Swipe the app away from your recent apps and open it again.
Restart your phone — A fresh restart clears background processes.
Check for updates — Make sure you're on the latest version of the CHI App.
Free up storage — The app needs some free space to run smoothly. Delete unused apps or files.
Check your internet — A poor connection can make the app appear slow or unresponsive.

Common Issues & Solutions

App crashes on launch	Update the app or reinstall it
Slow loading	Check internet connection; close other apps
Freezes during payment	Force close, reopen, and check transaction history
White or blank screen	Clear app cache (Android) or reinstall (iOS)
Login loop	Clear app data and log in again

Clearing App Cache (Android)

Go to your phone's Settings > Apps > CHI App.
Tap Storage > Clear Cache.
Reopen the app.

Reinstalling the App (iOS & Android)

Delete the CHI App from your device.
Reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Log in with your phone number and passcode.
Your tickets, wallet, and data will sync from the server.

Tip: Reinstalling the app won't delete your tickets or wallet data — everything is linked to your account and stored securely on CHI's servers.

Reporting a Bug

If the issue persists after trying all the steps above:

Go to Profile > Help & Support.
Tap Report a Problem.
Describe the issue and include details about your device and app version.
The support team will investigate and get back to you.

Device Compatibility

Make sure your device meets the minimum requirements:

iOS: Version 15.0 or later.
Android: Version 8.0 (Oreo) or later.
Older devices may experience reduced performance.
