Event Pages and What They Show
Every event listed on CHI Tickets has its own dedicated event page. This page serves as the central hub of information about the event and is where you begin the ticket purchasing process. Understanding what each section of the event page contains helps you make informed decisions before buying.
Event Image
At the top of the event page, you will see the event image — a banner or cover photo uploaded by the organizer. This image is typically a promotional graphic, flyer, or photo that represents the event. It gives you an immediate visual impression of what the event is about.
For events with multiple dates or stages, organizers sometimes use the image to highlight featured performers, themes, or branding.
Event Details
Below the image, the core event details are displayed:
- Event name — The official title of the event.
- Date and time — When the event takes place, including start and end times. For multi-day events, the full date range is shown.
- Location — The venue name and address. Depending on how the organizer configured the event, this may include a map or a link to get directions.
- Organizer — The name of the organization or individual hosting the event.
These details are set by the organizer and provide the essential information you need to decide whether the event fits your schedule and location.
Event Description
The description section contains a longer text written by the organizer. It can include:
- An overview of what the event is about.
- Lineup or schedule information (artists, speakers, sessions).
- Venue rules or entry requirements (age restrictions, dress code, items not allowed).
- Parking and transportation guidance.
- Links to the event's website or social media profiles.
The description varies in length and detail from event to event. Some organizers provide extensive information, while others keep it brief. The description is provided in the language chosen by the organizer and is not automatically translated by the platform.
Ticket Cards
The ticket cards section is where you select and purchase tickets. Each available ticket type is presented as a card containing:
- Ticket name — For example, "General Admission," "VIP," or "Day Pass — Saturday."
- Price — The current price in the event's currency. If phased pricing is in effect, this reflects the active pricing phase (e.g., early bird, regular, or last minute).
- Description — A short description of what the ticket includes or any restrictions.
- Quantity selector — Buttons to increase or decrease the number of tickets you want to purchase.
Additional indicators may appear on ticket cards:
- Sold Out badge — Displayed when all tickets of that type have been claimed. You cannot add sold-out tickets to your order.
- Quantity limit — A note showing the maximum number of tickets of this type you can purchase in a single order.
Add-Ons Section
If the event organizer has configured optional add-ons, they may be previewed on the event page below the ticket cards. Common add-ons include:
- Parking passes
- Meal or drink packages
- Merchandise bundles
- Camping or accommodation access
Each add-on displays its name, price, and a short description. Full add-on selection happens during the checkout process, but the event page gives you a preview so you can factor these into your budget.
Dates and Schedule
For events that span multiple days or have a detailed schedule, the event page may include a schedule or timetable section. This can show:
- Day-by-day breakdowns of activities, stages, or sessions.
- Start and end times for individual performances or talks.
- Stage or room assignments for multi-venue events.
Not all events include a schedule section. It depends on the type of event and how the organizer has configured the page.
Upcoming and Ongoing Tabs
When browsing events on CHI Tickets, the main listing uses Upcoming and Ongoing tabs to help you find events by their current status:
- Upcoming — Events that have not yet started. Tickets for these events are on sale or coming soon.
- Ongoing — Events that are currently in progress. Tickets may still be available for ongoing events, depending on the organizer's settings.
These tabs make it easy to focus on events that are relevant to you right now.
What to Look For Before Buying
Before starting the checkout process, review the event page thoroughly:
- Check the date and location to make sure you can attend.
- Read the description for any entry requirements or restrictions.
- Compare ticket types to find the best fit for your budget and desired experience.
- Note the currency so you know what you will be charged.
Tip: Bookmark event pages you are interested in so you can return quickly when you are ready to purchase. Prices and availability can change as phased pricing advances or tickets sell out.
