QR Code Payments

At events with cashless payments enabled, you can pay vendors by scanning a QR code with the CHI PWA or CHI App.

How It Works

1. At a vendor stand, the staff will show you a QR code on their POS terminal.
2. Open the CHI PWA or CHI App and tap Pay.
3. Scan the QR code with your camera.
4. Review the amount and tap Confirm.
5. Input your passcode to validate the transaction.
6. Payment is processed instantly — you'll see a confirmation.

Important Notes

• You need an active internet connection at the event.
• Make sure you have a linked payment card with sufficient funds.
• Each payment generates a receipt visible in your transaction history.

Troubleshooting

• Camera not working? Check that the CHI PWA or CHI App has camera permissions.
• Payment declined? Top up your balance or check your linked card.
• QR code not scanning? Move closer to the screen, ensure no glare, and clean your camera lens.
