Receiving Your Tickets After Purchase
Once you complete a purchase or reservation on CHI Tickets, your tickets are delivered to you through multiple channels so you always have access when you need them.
The Confirmation Page
Immediately after your payment is processed (or your free reservation is confirmed), you are taken to the confirmation page. This page displays:
- A success message confirming your order.
- Your order reference number — a unique identifier you can use to look up your order or communicate with the organizer.
- A summary of your purchase, including ticket types, quantities, add-ons, and the total amount paid.
- A note indicating that your tickets have been sent to the email address you provided during checkout.
Keep this page open or take a screenshot if you want an immediate record of your purchase.
Confirmation Email
A confirmation email is sent to the email address you entered during the contact info step of checkout. This email includes:
- Your order reference number.
- A breakdown of the tickets and add-ons you purchased.
- The total amount charged.
- Event details such as the name, date, time, and location.
- A link or attachment to access your tickets, including QR codes for each ticket.
If you do not see the confirmation email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. Make sure the email address you provided during checkout was spelled correctly. If the email was sent to the wrong address, contact the event organizer for assistance.
Accessing Tickets in the CHI App
If you have the CHI App installed on your mobile device, your tickets appear automatically in the app under the My Tickets section. This happens as soon as your order is confirmed, provided you are logged in with the same account or email address associated with your purchase.
The CHI App displays each ticket with:
- The event name and date.
- The ticket type (e.g., General Admission, VIP).
- A unique QR code that serves as your entry pass.
Having your tickets in the CHI App means you do not need to carry a printed ticket or search through your email at the venue entrance.
Accessing Tickets in the CHI PWA
The CHI PWA (Progressive Web App) provides the same ticket access through your mobile browser. Visit the CHI PWA, sign in, and navigate to My Tickets to view your purchased tickets and their QR codes.
The PWA is a convenient option if you prefer not to install a native app. You can add the PWA to your home screen for quick access, making it behave like a regular app on your device.
Using Your QR Code at the Event
Each ticket includes a unique QR code that event staff scan at the entrance. When you arrive at the event:
- Open your ticket in the CHI App, CHI PWA, or from your confirmation email.
- Display the QR code on your phone screen.
- Hold your phone steady while the staff member or scanner reads the code.
- Once validated, you are granted entry.
Each QR code can only be scanned once for entry, preventing duplicate use. Make sure you do not share your QR code with others unless you intend for them to use your ticket.
What to Do If You Cannot Find Your Tickets
If you cannot locate your tickets through any of the above channels:
- Check your email — Search for emails from CHI or the event organizer. Try the spam and junk folders.
- Log in to the CHI App or PWA — Make sure you are using the same email address you provided at checkout.
- Use your order reference number — If you noted it from the confirmation page, contact the event organizer and provide this number so they can look up your order.
- Contact the organizer — Most event pages include contact information or a support link for the organizer.
Multiple Tickets in One Order
If you purchased multiple tickets in a single order, each ticket has its own QR code. All tickets appear together in your confirmation email and in the My Tickets section of the CHI App and PWA. If you are attending with a group, you can share individual ticket QR codes with each attendee.
Tip: Download or screenshot your QR codes before arriving at the event in case you have limited internet connectivity at the venue.
