Setting Your Default Payment Method

Choose which payment method CHI PWA or CHI App uses by default for ticket purchases, top-ups, and in-app payments.

How to Set a Default Payment Method

1. Open CHI PWA or CHI App and go to Wallet.
2. Tap Payment Methods.
3. You'll see a list of your saved cards and payment options.
4. Tap the card or method you want to set as default.
5. Select Set as Default.
6. A checkmark or badge indicates your default method.

When the Default Is Used

Your default payment method is automatically selected when you:

• Buy tickets in the app.
• Make purchases.

You can always choose a different method at checkout — the default just saves you a step.

Changing Your Default

To switch to a different default:

1. Go to Wallet > Payment Methods.
2. Tap the new method you want as default.
3. Select Set as Default — the previous default is replaced.

Tip: Set your most reliable card as the default to avoid payment issues at events. You can still switch at checkout if needed.

Available Payment Methods

Depending on your region, you can set any of these as your default:

• Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard)

Troubleshooting

• Can't set a default? Make sure you have at least one valid payment method saved.
• Default not being used? Some events override the default with their own required payment options.
