Transferring a Ticket

Can't make it to the event? Transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.

How to Transfer

1. Open the CHI PWA or CHI App.
2. Go to My Tickets and select the ticket.
3. Tap Transfer Ticket.
4. Enter the recipient's email address.
5. Tap Confirm Transfer.

What Happens

• The recipient receives an email with instructions to claim the ticket.
• Once claimed, the ticket appears in their CHI PWA or CHI App.
• Your original ticket and QR code are deactivated.
• A new QR code is generated for the recipient.

Rules

• Transfers must be enabled by the event organizer.
• Some events limit the number of times a ticket can be transferred.
• Transferred tickets cannot be "un-transferred" — coordinate with the recipient first.
• Name changes on the ticket are automatic upon transfer.

Note: If the event doesn't allow transfers, the "Transfer Ticket" button won't appear.
